Doors Open Ingersoll in '22!
Visit Ingersoll, a town built on cheese. Come discover why Ingersoll is the cradle of the cheese industry in Canada, but also discover its rich agricultural, industrial and social history as well.
First established in 1793 as Oxford-on-the-Thames by Thomas Ingersoll (father of Laura Secord), the community continues to grow, expand and amaze.
Start your visit at the Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum. While exploring this award-winning community museum, be sure to pick up your Doors Open Ingersoll Guide Map, and vouchers for shopping downtown. Your tour will include arts, heritage, historical architecture, sports, music and more! Be sure to bring a cooler in case you purchase cheese, or fresh produce at the farmers' market.
During each visit, we kindly remind guests to adhere to any specific entry requirements that may be posted by our building partners. After a two-year hiatus from hosting a live event, please be patient and enjoy this exciting new phase as we re-open our doors.
