Aurora Readiness Centre (Bunker - Former Cold War Emergency Control Headquarters for Metro Toronto)

Established by Metropolitan Toronto in 1962 following the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Aurora Readiness Centre was located beneath a circa 1875 farmhouse, now a private home. The centre was to be used to coordinate emergency services in the event of a nuclear attack on Toronto. During Doors Open, only the operations room will be open for viewing.
