Established in 1968, the Wellington Advertiser has evolved from the front seat of founder William H. Adsett’s car to an over 929-square-metre (10,000-square-foot) facility in Fergus – complete with an in-house mailroom and a workforce of 44 employees – making it one of the largest independent newspapers in Ontario.
