This opera house remains a bustling cultural centre in Gravenhurst’s historical downtown. In 1934, John Holden and his Good Companions presented the first summer theatre in Canada here. A variety of concerts and theatre events take place all summer long, contributing to the visitor experience in Muskoka. The Gravenhurst Opera House continues to be “A Tradition Worth Coming Back For!”
