Village Bakery Dundas, The (Dundas Post Office)

Midway along the retail section of King Street West is the post office. Built in 1911 in the Romanesque revival style, it remained the regional post office until the 1990s. Cornerstones, balustrades and impressive stone arches provide a perfect backdrop for retail establishments such as The Village Bakery, which occupies the site today with its breads, quiches and pies.
