This church, built in 1857, has been the centre of community life since it was constructed. While regular services ended in 1967, volunteers fought for its designation as a historical site. Now, on every Sunday in August, special Summer in a Country Church services fill the pews and the church is once again bursting with old-fashioned gospel music and fellowship.
