Constructed in 1927, this building was a hub for social activities, ranging from Women’s Institute meetings to ballroom dances with full orchestras. It was even Stirling’s movie theatre from 1936-50. In 1984, when Stirling Council decided to demolish the site, a small group of dedicated residents came together to save the building. Today, the site is a thriving theatre.
