This railway station, built to serve the Victoria Railway that ran between Lindsay and Haliburton, was rebuilt in 1901 for the Grand Trunk Railway. It now houses the Kinmount Model Railway, which depicts the heyday of the Kinmount-Haliburton line. The Icelandic Memorial, a symbol of the tribulations of Ontario’s first Icelandic settlement that helped construct the Victoria Railway, stands outside.
