Bury House (Sombra Museum and Cultural Centre)

This former home of mariner John Edgar Bury features several rooms, including a parlour and servants’ quarters. Today, as part of the Sombra Museum, it has been restored to the late 19th century and features a phonograph once owned by Thomas Edison, a Doherty stove, a church lamp, seven mourning wreaths, period furniture, vintage toys and hundreds of everyday objects.
