Fairbank Oil Fields

There’s plenty to see at this site, where oil is still pumped using authentic 1860s technology. At the museum across the road, hop on the free horse-drawn wagon for a unique tour into Fairbank Oil or, take the Driving Tour to see the metal sculptures of oil pioneers at work. Don’t miss the site of Canada’s first gusher (in 1862)!
