An excellent early example of Greek revival design, this building has undergone many alterations throughout its complex 187-year history. It began as the Upper Canada Academy, followed by Victoria College in 1842. After 1892, it became an asylum, a military rehabilitation hospital, a provincial hospital, and a Community and Social Services training centre. Today, it’s home to over 40 retirees.
