The Governor’s House in Court House Square is the home of Ontario Ancestors Oxford County Branch (a.k.a. the Ontario Genealogical Society), Oxford Historical Society and Oxford County Archives (on the second floor). The original house, built in the Georgian style, was constructed in 1854 for the Governor of the Oxford County Gaol. Bring your genealogical questions!
