Finch Yard is one of six Toronto Water operations yards in the city. This yard will showcase some of the equipment, tools, technology and materials that Toronto Water uses to ensure the distribution of high-quality water and the collection of waste-water — including 67,000 valves, 42,000 hydrants, 10,000 km (6,200 miles) of sewers, 155,000 maintenance holes and 170,000 catch basins.

Welcome to Toronto's First Post Office! Operated by the Town of York Historical Society, this National Historic Site is a museum and an authorized full-service dealer for Canada Post. The museum tells the story of the Town of York and the early Canadian postal system. Visitors can try their hand with a quill pen and ink, and explore the museum exhibits.

Ubisoft Toronto is a video game development studio that has produced innovative video games — including Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell. The 1922 building features a brick-and-beam interior and a distinctive rooftop water tower. In 2019, the studio added a new, state-of-the-art Performance Capture Studio that has worked with world-renowned talent from across the globe.

The Department of Physics at the University of Toronto — with its hundreds of undergraduate and graduate students — is located inside the McLennan Physical Labs. The building is named after John C. McLennan, a professor who laid the foundation for quantum optics and condensed matter, and subatomic and atmospheric physics. The building features the 14-storey Burton Tower, which houses its telescopes.

The West Toronto Lawn Bowling Club is a Junction original, having occupied a corner of Baird Park since 1912. On its two lush greens, people have been enjoying the fun, easy-to-learn game of lawn bowls for 110 years. The clubhouse is architecturally unique, with six Tuscan pillars on its porch. It is the only clubhouse of this design in Canada.

With artifacts dating back to the 1800s, you will see, feel and experience how Weston has evolved. Weston was founded in 1790 and became a major commerce and manufacturing hub. The headquarters of the Weston Historical Society is home to artifacts that detail both everyday life and the major events that took place in Weston over the past 200-plus years.

This building, one of the few remaining Masonic sites in operation in Toronto, is home to the Humber Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons (instituted in 1874). The main lodge room and banquet hall are steeped in the history of the area with furnishings, photos and other items that date back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This charming 19th-century opens into the Ruth Upjohn Gallery and the Dignam Art Gallery, named after the founder and first president, Mary Ella Dignam, who was a pioneer in Canada’s arts and crafts movement. The gallery spaces and formal sunken garden are great for exhibits and receptions, parties and weddings. There is also a formal library and many studios.

Built in 1888 for industrial use by Gooderham and Worts, the Young Centre for the Performing Arts was adapted and reopened in 2006 as a performing arts facility with much of the original architecture still intact. The Young Centre was envisioned by George Brown College and Soulpepper Theatre Company as a home for Toronto's arts community and theatre lovers.

Youngplace is a community cultural hub in the West Queen West area whose spaces include artists’ studios, a public lounge, café and free public art galleries. The Experience Centre provides an immersive experience that invites the public to explore the vision for YZD — a historical $30-billion transformation of the former Downsview Airport lands. One of Toronto’s only renewable-energy sites open for public tours, the ZooShare Biogas Plant generates enough renewable energy to power 250 homes and businesses. Each year, they use 15,000 tonnes of inedible food waste and 2,000 tonnes of manure from the Toronto Zoo to create biogas, which is converted into electricity.
