This stone wall was constructed in 1891 as part of the estate for W.T.C. Boyd, businessman and son of local lumber baron Mossom Boyd. Today, the wall is the only part of the estate that remains. Its designation and restoration were spearheaded in 2022 by Environmental Action Bobcaygeon. Learn about the history and restoration of this site from knowledgeable volunteers.

Fenelon Falls Generating Station

Fenelon Falls' earliest generating station was built in 1893 by the Fenelon Falls Electric Light Company and first powered five electric streetlights. Rebuilt in 1997, the current generating station — a 2.6-megawatt hydroelectric station — supplies electricity to approximately 2,000 homes in Kawartha Lakes (depending on the time of the year). During Doors Open, enjoy a rare interior tour throughout the day.

Built in 1887 as St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, this is now home to All Nations Church and is used by the Carleton Place Town Singers for performances. Constructed of limestone in the Scottish baronial style, the fanciful towers and turrets add interest to this imposing structure. Contrasting decorative courses and window and door details are constructed of dark Beckwith limestone.

This is the oldest surviving church in Collingwood. After a fire destroyed the original, a new and larger building was constructed in 1858 (the present church), with transepts, the sanctuary and bell tower added in 1876, and the parish hall and vestry in 1911. Over the years, the church has been enhanced by stained-glass windows and a distinctive altar.
