Experience the former county jail through a self-guided tour of the grounds. The first county jail opened in 1842 and operated until 2001. While the building is no longer standing, the Peterborough County Jail Park holds remainders of the structure, yard and cells for you to explore. Self-guided tour brochures will be available at the site.
