The land for the Wesleyan Methodist Church was purchased in 1888. In 1925, with the establishment of the United Church of Canada, the church changed its name to Brechin United (the sister church of nearby Atherley United). Interior changes include the addition of stained-glass windows and notable wall hangings. It features a large kitchen and hall that can be rented.
