Templeton House

The house was constructed in 1879 by the Midland Land Company. It was subsequently purchased by one of Midland’s pioneers, Adolph Baron von Hugel. He was one of the founders of the Midland Land Company, which was the company responsible for extending railway service to Midland. The first train rolled into Midland on July 1, 1879.
