Located along the Welland Canal, this site tells the stories that shaped St. Catharines. Permanent exhibitions feature stories of the Welland canals and the Underground Railroad, with special attention to the stories of immigrant labourers and freedom seekers arriving here in the 1850s. Their temporary exhibits offer the chance to learn about what makes the city what it is today.
