Located three storeys below Toronto's Hospital Row is one of the world’s most advanced medical research facilities. The Challenging Environment Assessment Lab, part of the University Health Network's KITE Research Institute, is home to simulation laboratories designed to allow scientists to test and develop pharmaceuticals, assistive devices, footwear and other products and technologies that combat disability, illness and aging.
