Through its programs, exhibitions and events, the homestead of Canada's first noted landscape artist – Homer Watson (1855-1936) – celebrates his creative spirit by stimulating visual arts appreciation, enjoyment and practice. In addition to the Watson Collection, contemporary exhibitions and Watson's painting equipment, Doors Open visitors can see the adjacent coach house and art studios, and participate in a hands-on art activity.
