Established in 1964, the Windsor Islamic Association (WIA) now serves over 25,000 members in the city’s Muslim community. One of Windsor’s largest demographic communities, Muslims have originated from over 60 countries. The WIA provides various Islamic social, educational and charitable programs in accordance with Sunni (Orthodox) guidelines. Doors Open Windsor encourages modest attire when visiting.
